Vaccines for children are now going to be required in the state of Maryland in Prince Georges County Schools. A prison sentence and fine awaits parents who don't vaccinate their kids.
Please read my blog post about Autism in October(also a video in the post), in order to really see why this is a huge awful thing. At least the law does give an exemption form for parents who don't want to give a shot of mercury to their kids and not give their kids the risk of autism. Wow that sure is nice of the state- but what about all the other kids who have ill informed parents. This is sad.

I totally respect your opinion about vaccines, but I do think there's much more to the autism etiology than vaccines....as someone with an advanced degree in psychology, with friends heavily involved with autism research at Hopkins, I think it's not fair to lay blame in vaccines when there is much, much more at play now.
My take? Against vaccines? Don't get them.....
Thanks for stopping by :) Im glad to hear you wouldn't get them lol. And I'm sure there's all sorts of stuff in our toxic environment these days that can be linked to autism among many other diseases.
But with that said, for many years autism was rare - occurring in just five children per 10,000 births. However, since the early 1990's, the rate of autism has massively increased with figures as high as 60 per 10,000. Boys outnumber girls four to one. In 2007, the Centers for Disease Control reported that 1 in 150 children is diagnosed with autism. By 1985 the average kindergartner had 33 vaccines. But then in the 90's up to until today the average kindergartner has had 120 vaccines.
